Guatemala 2016: Day 3

Our third day of this year’s trip began with one of the local volcanos erupting during breakfast. Although this is a weekly occurrence, it was a noteworthy experience for most of us.
The Opening Ceremony commenced at 0830 with a processional of both the Guatemalan and United States of America flags. An advisor of the Minister of Defense, the Representative of the Minister of Defense, and Silvana Aysuo were present and shared encouraging words with the trainees.
