Our team

The Team is composed of dedicated volunteers that train hard to provide the technical response and training we offer. The Team realizes that family comes first and emphasizes this fact in its training and operations. One of the things that sets us apart is, we are a Team and a family. “It’s one for all and all for one.”

If you are interested in joining the Team and are interested in some of the specialized rescue that we offer, we would love to hear from you. We DO NOT require any previous training or certifications, but prior rescue, fire, or law enforcement background is welcomed.

Prerequisites

No special background or experience will be required; we do welcome experienced applicants.

  • 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Attend 3 R.E.D.S. Team training sessions; this will allow you, the potential applicant, to learn more about the R.E.D.S. Team and decide if applying to the Team will be what you want to do. This will also be a time for R.E.D.S. Team to get to learn more about you.

Application

Fulfill all prerequisites.

Following the completion of your probationary period, the operational staff will evaluate probationary members for promotion to full membership.
